Genealogy brings conference to city
Monday April 10, 2006
Wetaskiwin Times Advertiser — The 2006 GenFair conference is coming to Wetaskiwn, the city with roots.
Short for genealogy fair, genealogy is the investigation of family trees.
More than 67 delegates throughout the province will converge, April 28 to 29, at NorQuest College to be entertained by all things genealogical.
“Our conference is as good as the big conferences in Edmonton and at half the price. It’s fantastic we can bring this quality of speakers to Wetaskiwin,” said branch president Don Brosius.
