I'm going to a family reunion next week near Edmonton, Alberta, which will give me the opportunity to meet many of my Canadian cousins for the first time. But what reunion trip would be complete without some research? I don't know what kind of time I'll have available, but I'm going to TRY to squeeze a few hours to run over to the Alberta Provincial Archives in Edmonton.

This will be my first trip to Alberta and I'm curious about what information I might find about blacks in Alberta 100 years ago or so.
