I thought about you and your ancestors when I read Lisa's posting. In the back of my mind, I always wondered why your family left Canada and journeyed back to America. I didn't know my Canadian history...I forgot the years when your family returned. I thought it was earlier than Michigan's end to slavery.

I do hope that you add this piece of Canadian history to your book. The travel SOUTH from Canada is a fascinating piece of history....as of course is your family.
