I have been stuck in my search for Joseph Green the brother of my great grandmother for along time...
I know that he was born in St. Marys County, MD (Leonardtown) thru family oral tradition.. He is does not exist in the baptismal records though I found them for most of his siblings. He is not listed in any of the MD census records though I can find the family. I have an elderly cousin who remembers his brother but has never heard of Joseph Green.
I only found him mentioned once in the census in 1900 living with his sister in Philadelphia, PA. He is listed as being born in March 1875 and at that time was a bellman.
My family seemed to have a range from rural Maryland to New York city. All suggestions welcomed...
