Thanks for the reminders. One of my greatest regrets about a recent trip to Charleston was precisely that I didn't plan sufficiently, which is exactly what your lists are aimed at helping one do.

Nowhere was my lack of planning more apparent than when I went to the Avery Institute. When I got into the reading room there, I began to realize that most of my questions simply weren't specific enough to avail myself of the riches there. It was not an experience I want to repeat--I mean, I wouldn't have minded so much if Charleston were close by, but it's not.

So I'm building my list of questions now for both Charleston and Savannah even though I don't have a date set yet for a return to either city.
