Where do I go from Here?

Well folks I have to say I am at a stand still, yet again, in researching a grandparent. This is the 2nd person I have gotten to the point where I cannot find any thing pointing me to the name of descendants after 1940. Of course the census is not there fo this period, but there are some substitute information such as street directories and newspaper obits. About the newspaper obits, now that has been a gold mine to a point. I just have not figured out how some of the helpers on Afrigeneas has found these newspaper clippings and where. Ancestry.com has not yielded any of the positve information the Afrigeneas helpers has found for me. I feel a lot of the cousins out there probably have no clue about their ancestor's and have not heard of anyone who probably is related to them because their grandparents moved to different states before the cousins were born. So aside from sending information to the last possible address found, I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs.
One thing I can say by sending information to the church listed on the newspaper clips, I have had some positive results. I just don't know where to go from here. Who is My Cousin????
