Nelson Sylvester Moore lived in Philadelphia. His WWII Draft Registration (1942) shows him living at 6523 Cherokee Street with Mary Williams. His employer was William Hines on 21st St. (It doesn't say what type of work.) It says he's a WHITE Male, 5'8 1/2, with brown eyes, black hair, and a ruddy complexion.

Interestingly enough, there is also a WWI Draft Card for him. (1917-1918) On that one, his race is given as AFRICAN. He is listed as married, and works as a freight checker for the PA Railroad. At that time, his address was 2213 Wilder.
