Ok. My father died in 1991. He only mentioned the information that I have given all of his life, as if there wasn't very mcuh to tell. I went to socisl security nd they showed me the informtion requested, but at that time, you didn't even have to present a driver's license, so they hane NO information of his parentage on file. I am not sure where he was born, because on my birth certificate he said Pennsylvania, but on the 1930 census he says Albama, but someone on this forum found his as a little boy (possibly him) in Virginia in 1910, so as you can see, none of the information that i have leads to anything concrete. My biggest shot might be Margaret Louise's birth certificate which could be in either Pennsylvania or alabama. As you cn see this hs been a very frustrating search. I think to be fair to my dad, he just didn't want my mom to know how old he really was.
