I am researching the Descendants of James and Martha Jane (unknown maiden name)Bowen. James and Martha had a son, Abraham T. Bowen 1894, Duplin County, NC. He married my gr aunt Hattie Jane Mathews b. 1895, Duplin County, NC whose mother was Laura mathews. Four children were born to them: Abe, Jr, Thomas, Martha (Tensy) and Edna. Hattie Jane died at age 30. My aunt told that one of the son's lived with them at one time.

So I am looking for the 4 children's birth and death. I can't find them in any of the Census. I have search under Mathews and Bowen and nothing. Can some one help me.
I found out the children's names through an aunt who is now deceased.

Could someone please steer me in the right directions as to how to find them?
