So glad I checked this forum, as I had not checked in a while.

I don't know your particular family line, however, I do research Tippah County MS, and Ripley in particular. My gr. gr. grandmother Amanda Young lived in Ripley for many years after the Civil War. I have some access to records from there, and will check to see if my resources have the names that you have mentioned.

My Tippah County surnames are YOUNG, BARR, GAMMEL (GAMBRELL) CAMPBELL.
