In addition to the family members you named in 1900, there are two more in the same family:
Bernetta born 1897 and Comer born 1900.

From what I can see in Census records, Georgia remarried with Henry Higgins in 1907 and is listed in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma in 1910 with Amanda, Bernetta and Comer.

Comer also has WW1 draft card and SSN application, but I could not find him in 1920 or 1930 census (he should be there in Oklahoma though).

In 1920 I found Obid in Kansas City Ward 3, Wyandotte, Kansas. The household of Ben Byrd (Okmulgee County, OK) has Mandy(Amanda Byrd), Georgia (Higgins) and Carrie (Peterson).

I also looked in 1880 and 1870, and there is one (and only one) Peter Brown in Dallas County that I would take a closer look at if I were you. I would also try to find out what happened to Georgia Higgins. If a death certificate was filed you could have more info about her parents and also where in Louisiana she was born.
