Re: Mary Spivey 1930 NC
In Response To: Re: Mary Spivey 1930 NC ()
To all of you, THANK YOU!
I'm definitely going to check this out. As for SSID, there's no SS#, but I will have a search done. Did people with religious occupations even have to have a SS#?
As for the Honly, I've been looking her up on Philly's property search site. There is discussion that David supposedly had a little something going on on the side... Faith and scandal, what can I say... As for Daisy. I'm not sure, at one point it says sister and she's single on the 1920's census. On Mary E Jr's death certificate it describe Daisy as being a married relative. Not to mention I found a Daisy Hally on the 1930s census married to a Louis Hally with the same age. Not that Daisy wasn't a common name. Plus, I found a Nancy Spivey with a grandchild with the last name of Holly/Hally.
As for Sprig census find, I have an Ancestry account and I don't know how I missed that. I even did a soundex too! THANK YOU! Oddly, I just had a person on ANCESTRY ask me about David... My mother, her siblings and us grandchildren knew him as Jonathan which makes sense, but from what my Spivey cousins in Philly call him is Joe Nathan.
Anyone else with ideas, PLEASE share, I welcome all the leads!
Thank you to the BRICK WALL Moderators for posting my plea, this has been a TREMENDOUS help for me!
