I was on a roll and came up flat. I'm looking for a way to track the parent's of David Columbus Spivey. He was born on April 20-8, 1891 maybe Edgecombe County, NC. I know he died in June of 1953 in Philly, even know where he's buried. Requested his death certificate, parent's listed as unknown. I know he married Mary Eliza Jones, whose mother was a Knight. I know he had a sister named Daisy (who married a Hally/Holly) on the 1920's census. I know there are Spiveys in Edgecombe, Martin, Rocky Mount, I just don't know how they relate to him. David is a definite inigma that I haved racked my brain on. I've even asked family...

Any suggestions? Any one remember his children Joe Nathan, EJ, Naomi, Ruth, Arsena, David Jr, Polly V, etc...
