I am sorry, it has taken so long to get back to you. My problem is where do I find them in the Courthouse in Sampson County, Clinton, NC. I have looked and so far I have not found that section in our little courthouse in Clinton, NC.

Would I have to go to the Archives in Raleigh, NC to find Inventory (Estates and Returns)?

I have some deeds from the grandson to my grandfather and his brother. I have found a couple of Wills for the Son, who I think was my g grandfather's dad.

By the way, the older WEST family Ancestor moved to GA because of being in the Revolutionary War. They were given some land for their Military service.
