I have a question for you since you are related to Ransom West. Was he Kirby West's father?

I was born in Westbrook Township in a place called Easy Street right off Rte 55. The road that runs from Newton Grove to Dunn. Our homeplace where my grandparents lived was not to far from Rte 1620/Rosin Hill Road.

I believe Kirby West ran a grocery store when I was growing up in NC. Now I heard there was a Kirby West Cemetery where some of my older ancestors were buried. Have you heard anything about a cemetery being his property? or do you know where it was or is now?

We went down there to try to find it about 7 years ago and we found nothing. It was grown over with trees or cotton was planted there. It's a huge old tall house in the curve between the store and Lee store/he had a mechanic shop in the back of the store/house on Rte 1620 near Watery Branch Road. I believe he had 3 children 2 girls and one son, Landis Lee. Hope you can answer my questions. Thanks.
