My brick wall is finding any kind of church records for my gg-granfather Asbury Neal. I have looked at several census records that list his occupation as preacher but I cannot find out any other info. I would really like to know if he was affiliated with any specific church in that area of Georgia. What I do know is his father Gabriel Neal was born abt.­ 1822.­ He married Annie Little from Banks County, Georgia and had 6 children:

Asbury lived with one of his children in Hall County, Georgia until he died in 1922. I am hoping that any info from church records may provide links to birth, marriage and death records from that time. Thank you so much for any help!!
