Ran into brick wall with my research...

Here's what I know:

I was down in Natchez MS in late April of this year, and I found a lot of information concerning my grandfather, however, I just can't connect the dots that will give
me a good since of confidence that my family is related to the Claibornes in Natchez.

Anthony Claiborne, born in Adams County, Mississippi in 1878. He married Mollie Thompson (born about 1883) in 1904 and had 4 children: Maggie, Tom, Anthony Jr.
and James.

According to the 1910 census, he and his family was listed in Adams County. My aunt Maggie and father (Tom) left MS in the late 1940's but I do not have any information on Anthony Jr. or James. I know that my cousin said the Anthony Jr. died a violent death (this is what his mother, my aunt Maggie, told him). James is such a common name, but I can't seem to find him anywhere using,
but he was born in 1910.

After the 1910 census, I was not able to track him until he married Dora Coleman on Mar 28, 1917. After that I have his death record and it shows that he died in Washington Parish, Louisanna on Feb 22, 1937. His mothers name was Evelyn and his father's name was Clabe Claiborne.

I have not been able to find any other information about him. I really would like to know if anyone has any information about this couple (did they have any children? did Dora have any siblings? Did Mollie have any siblings?) These are questions that I cannot answer at this time.

My guess would be that Anthony and his family were originally from Louisanna.

I found a Mollie Claiborne in Louisanna who died in the Caddo Parish in Louisanna on 9/20/1933 at the Old Folks home there in Caddo.

Although her husband was listed as Allen Claiborne, it was just strange that James Claiborne was list as the next of kin because Allen Claiborne had already died.

If you think that you could assist me in connecting these dots, please email me @
