It is possible that you don't have to be on ground in Virginia. This information appears to come from the Court Order Books in Louisa and should be available on microfilm on inter-library loan from the LVA..see link to the microfilm records for Louisa.

I think the V that appears in some of the notions means that it comes from some kind of Journal......if these are abstractions then it means it does not necessarily include all the information that was present in the original record, just what the abstractor thought was important (which may or may not be all that was important).
