Going back over my records I have found even more inconsistancies.
Her marriage record to George Edmondson (if this is her record- has her listed as Ella Williams) has an 1889 date and her 1900 census record has her married in 1896. Have to dig out my files and recheck the record I got in the mail from Nashville.

Sigh. She certainly made life complicated for her descendant to research - but seems to have had the ability to attract husbands/partners throughout her life - since she died as a Mrs. Perkins

Again - thanks for looking - I doubt if I will ever get to Nashville to do my own digging so am in no rush.
