Re: Dennis "Boy" Gainey b. bet. 1800--1813, NC

Not trying to butt in here on you and Lee's conversation Alice but you should upload your raw data to Gedmatch and get their Kit number like Lee has.

Here is the link and directions to do so

1. Go to your main page and you will see Settings
2. Look for download raw dna data
3. Click on Download
4. Put in your Ancestry password, check I Understand, then hit confirm
5. Go to your email, then you will see Ancestry instructions
6. Put in a place where you can go get it . I put mine in Documents (lol)
DO NOT OPEN

Go to Gedmatch at this link

http://v2.gedmatch.com/login1.php

1. It will say Not Registered Yet, click Here
2. Follow instructions
3. Follow instructions for Ancestry and also make sure you click Yes to make public

Make sure you let it go through the process which takes about 3-4 minutes You will get an A kit number. It will take several days before they load up all your information. Your matches will come from all three.

Vicky

P.S. you may even see me in you matches.
