I just received info from the Atlanta, Ga. genealogy society that there is going to be something hosted in Savannah Ga. I really don't have the details, because I knew I wouldn't be able to attend, but I will suggest you contact them and see what will be happening and when. I can tell you when you are a member of genealogy societies, especially in the state where your ancestor's may have lived, if there is a workshop or event going on MEMBERS are notified early and as a member hotels and events are discounted. Non-members are welcomed to come, but you pay a added cost. Contact the Atlanta Genealogy society direct for additional info.
