Henry Joiner and Clarence Minton Disappearing Act

I need help with two relatives who I can not find at all after certain years. I know they did not die at a early age they just seem to disappear from society and declined from taking the census. One was my biological Great grandfather and the other my Great uncle. From two different families.

My great uncle Henry Joiner born about 1889 is listed in 1900 and 1910 census in Schley County Georgia. After that i have not been able to find him. Please dont get him mix up with his father Henry Joiner born 1867 i I find him from 1880-1930 but he dies in 1937 so he will not be in the 1940 census. Henry Jr did live to adulthood but where did he live and did he have a family they would be close relatives to me.

My biological great grandfather Clarence Minton born around 1890 in SC? he is in 1900/1910 Hampton county, SC . I can not find him in 1920/1930 census however 1917-1918 he filled out a WW I draft card and in 1927 he was the informant for his mother death in Savannah, Ga but he is not located in the 1920/1930 census. I was told he died in Philly or Jersey city. I need to find out if he had more children he was married. But he wasnt married to my great grandmother they just had a child together (my grandmother).. I need some help
