I'v tried to use the database you referenced, but with little success to this point, probably due to my ineptness. The ports and slave markets that I'm now searching are on the Upper & Lower James River & the York River. If I read the information correctly for these ports there were over 47,000 slaves brought in thru them during the time period in question.

Hopefully we will get there, but I'm glad this particular "issue" is not at the forefront of my genealogical research.
