I have located Dennison Cook's father. He is Lewis Cook alias Nelson Cook. Lewis was a Civil War Soldier that died 2/20/1867 in Brownsville, TX. of Chronic Disease. How can I find out of he was a Buffalo Soldier? I believe this troop was formed about 1866.
Lewis is buried at the Alexandria National Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana.
