Anne Rice's "The Feast of All Saints" is going to be a Showtime mini-series this month.

This novel is sent in 1840 New Orleans and deals with the free people of color.

From the interview with Ms. Rice on Showtime and the behind the scenes episode that was aired this promises to be an truly interesting miniseries.

After it has aired and/or others read the book we can compare it to "Cane River" since both are sent in Louisiana and deal with interracial children.
