I have read this book at least a hundred times in the past 10 years. I find it lyrical, beautiful, and accurate.

However, the miniseries did NOT do it justice at all. Many themes were lost and characters rendered one-dimensional. I thought it was grossly miscast.

It was frustrating to watch. :-(
