Thank you for your absolutely shameless promotion of the Afrigeneas Book Club.(wink) It is brilliant!
I wrote on another forum " of the infinite connections of Afrigeneas to best selling authors. Scruggs and Landers are just two of many authors that are part of the Afrigeneas family."
I enjoyed seeing the book cover of Jane Landers' book "Black Society in Spanish Florida". It's pretty powerful. Dr. Landers is finishing her book on the legendary Prince Witten in Florida history and I do hope that we can interview her again.
I am just as shameless as you are when it comes to promoting Florida history.
I've read the interviews with Dee Woodtor, Ed Ball and Gwen Midlo Hall in our archives and our own David Paterson manager of the Slavery Forum. His post yesterday was superb. Can you name other authors and their books that have a connection to Afrigeneas?
I throw down the gauntlet!
