Success! The first Afrigeneas / Barnes & Noble Off-Line Book Club meeting was held Tuesday, January 08, 2002.

Afrigeneas' Alta J. Cannaday spearheaded this (monthly) event; which took place at the Bowie Town Center , Barnes & Noble Book Store in Bowie, MD.

The collaboration of Afrigeneas' Off-Line and On-Line Book Clubs has been set; the book has been chosen; so let's get busy!

We can discuss Zora Neale Hurston's book at the Book Club Forum; and then get together for a real-time online chat February 13th!
