Re: Congo

Mabage - I have also had the experience of living in Africa - Southern Africa - and have also observed the impact of racism/white supremacy on African people. However one must remeber that racism/white supremacy is global and effects Africans throughout the Diaspora, so the same thing you observed in Africa can be seen here in North and South America, The Carribeans, Europe, Asia and any other place African people reside. It is easier to see the mess in your neighbor's house than it in your own house.

I would encourage you to check-out the following books if you have not done so already:

Akbar, Na'im, Chains and Images of Psychological Slavery

Akbar, Na'im, From Miseducation to Education

Ani, Marimba, Yurugu: An African Centered Critique of European Cultural Thought and Behavior

Chinweizu, The West and the Rest of Us: White Predators, Black Slavers and the African Elite

Cress-Welsing, France, The Isis Papers: Keys to the Colors

Wilson, Amos, Black-On-Black Violence: The Psychodynamics of Black Self-Annihilation in Service of White Domination

Wilson, Amos, The Falsification of Afrikan Consciousness: Eurocentric History, Psychiatry and the Politics of White Supremacy
