Now this is what is going to really knock your socks off....Now that you know my grandmother's roots are Madagascar African on my mom's side through my ggggrandfather..this side of the family all lived in Alabama

But here is the shocking thing I want to tell you...On my dad's side...they all come from Virginia! including my dad and if you look it up on the website The Charity family...those are all my people...James and Keziah Charity were my gggrandparents...and they all are mullatos...A book on the Charity family and all of it's ancestors are in this book...They started out in Scurry Virginia where the first white Charity moved from Lincolnshire England and settled in the Scurry Virginia location.... then they mixed with the Indians and slaves and that's how my family came about and they were all free people... and then after my gggrandparents moved from Scurry they moved to Charles City Virginia.....this is where my dad was born and grew up....and that side of my family still lives in Virginia....Shocking right!
