I just received DNA Matriclan testing results from African Ancestry in Washington D.C. and found that I share DNA with the Mende and Temne Peoples of Sierra Leone. I would like to learn all I can of thier culture and plan a trip to visit the country. I had been able to trace my American Ancestry back to 1822 the community of Goliad, Texas, Where my parents and grandparents still reside. I am now so excited to be able to cross the Atlantic and hopefully one day walk on the same grounds as ancestors before me.
