I just recieved my results from Afrikan Ancesrty on Monday. I was abandoned as a child in September 1975, and syill don't jhave any information about my birth parents. So you can understand that when I found out I was Mende and Temne from Sierra Leone I was surprised. You can still say I am still walking arounf in a daze. i now know who I am. I f anyone knows of any information about Sierra Leone around the 1970s plaes e-mail me the information. We are trying to pin piont exactly if my mother and I came over in secret or if I was here already. My papers from the New York Foundling Hospital state that I played the wuiet game in the bathroom. I was at least 4 or 5 years old when I told the social workers this bit of information. I also told them that my countrty spoke the same language as here. I am still trying to find any info on my birth parents still, I will always be searching. Thanks for listening my brother.
