I feel personally, library visits are very important, always. If you looked at the program "Who Do U Think U Are", they always end up at a library for more information. The people there in the genealogy sections know a lot about starting. Know this-this is not a free hobby. You may have to spend some money's for government documents to confirm information. Get familiar with the Free Family History Search Site. There's information out there. "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day". So don't expect to type in information on the computer and have all your questions answered right away. You gotta work for it. There has to be a 'human being' to put information on line, in order for it to be scene. It may start with you when you start building your Family tree.
