He sent me non identifying information which means I will probably never know who gave birth to me. I encourage you to write down in a letter all the information you know. Keep this paper with your will so that your children can have it. Write on the outside what the information is like "information about *'s birth parent" That way your children will always have the choice of opening the envelope or not.

For a very long time I wondered about searching but I never have. I've got so much pain in dealing with my adoptive family I really don't need any more confusion.
