Reflecting on Adoption

FREDERICK -- For the next 10 days, the hallway connecting two buildings of the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center will be filled with 37 photographic portraits of children.
Each is of a child in need of a family.

With the exhibition, called the Adoption Heart Gallery, the Maryland Department of Human Resources and local departments of social services hope to bring attention to the need for adoptive families. All children pictured are legally available for adoption.
