Would like to start research of my origins. Have paternal Grandparents and Great-Grandparents etc. from this area. My Grandmother's name was Vera MOORE b. about 1920? in GA and died about 1980 in GA. Am not sure if she was born in Jasper County or in Jasper, Pickens Counry. She had parents Fred? MOORE married to Luella? WILSON. It is not know if she had siblings. She was not married to, but had 2 children with Clarence HAWKINS (place of DOB unknown) died in 1946 in GA and from what I understand, was buried at McDonough Cemetery, Henry County. My father Larry, born 1946 and aunt Doris are the only children, she being the eldest. I understand they are still living in GA. Would like to trace my family tree.
