I was in Cumberland co, Fayetteville, NC on Sunday and the Slave Market is a historical site now. Its call the Market Place and sits in the middle of Main Street in Fayetteville. It does still exist, because I took photos of it on Sunday 10/10/99.
Note: my g g grandfather Dublin McLamb escaped from Cumbeland Co.
