I am still researching the Reuben Brown family (19th century) from Bladen and Columbus Counties, North Carolina. He married and had five children. They're descendents are spread throughout the Carver's Creek township in that county. He was a slave for twenty years of his life and continued to remain in Bladen County up until the time of his death.
