Re: Help -- Charlie Mitchell in 1880

It was so kind of you to response. I have made progress since 2002. I have 6 generations documented -- located documents; found my ggrandfather, his mother and siblings in Caddo Parish, LA.; obtained marriage and death certificates.

Through newly found relatives, I now have photos dating back to the early 1900s -- (now I know who I look like,) and I've written a historical narrative (a work in progress.)

Philip Fitzgerald is one of the names in my "mountain of notes." My cousin just shared that there was also a connection to "some outlaw." I wasn't sure what to make out of that, however, I read that Fitzgerald was related to Doc Holiday's family -- as they were from Fayette County, GA.

Thank you again for responding -- I was beginning to feel "Stuck in Louisiana." Could you share how my initial e-mail brought Philip Fitzgerald's family to mind?

So many paople have helped me -- your generosity and thoughfulness are greatly appreciated --your e-mail came at the right time.
God Bless You,
Diane Turner
