If I understand your question...Yes, I have purchased a package(s) that allows access to on-line Census & other records.

I have paid subscriptions to Ancestry.com & I also use the Godfrey Memorial Library. To me, both are worth the price.

I might suggest you use the AfriGeneas Links section to see what else might be available, both free & subscription. There are many free databases worth investigating that have SOME of the data found on the for fee sites.
