Thanks for responding. Rock Hill, SC is not that far from Fairfield and Chester Counties. Isaac McCrorey (born abt. 1800) lived in Fairfield County in 1870 and 1880, and I believe some of his children/grandchildren lived in both Fairfield and Chester County. Isaac McCrorey was one of the children of my 5th-great grandmother, Annika. My ancestors ended up in Panola County, MS and were separated from some of their family members. If you are able to get in touch with the McCroreys, I would like to talk to them. They are long-lost, distant relatives if they can trace their line back to Isaac McCrorey. Also, do you know if they are linked to the late Dr. Henry Lawrence McCrorey, the 2nd Pres. of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C. I believe he is a grandson of Uncle Isaac. See
