Hey There April!

A Few of the Brodie Brothers moved from Aiken County South Carolina to North Carolina. Furman Lawrence Brodie, George Brodie, & Alfred Brodie Jr. I know they moved to Mecklenburg, NC. Furman L. Brodie earned his Doctorates Degree in Divinity. George was a Teacher. (Not sure what Alfred did for a living. Furman moved around in different parts of North Carolina opening private parochial schools. He was the principal at most of the schools he opened. He had 9 children with his wife. Her last name was Pierce. His one son, Furman Jr. became a Dentist, and later moved to Bucks County Phila. I have the names of all of his childern (FURMAN SR.) and thier spouses. (will post later, I m at work) I am also related through marriage to the Johnson name. (Will send that info as well.) There are also two old ladies (sisters) that live in Camden NJ that are Brodie's and are from N.C. I have yet to find a connection, but it's been a while since I have contacted them. I have tons of info since I last spoke to them! Wow, this has sparked my genealogial intrest!!!! (lol) Will get back to you soon.
