Strange thing about Franklin County, as I suppose it is with many small towns, families kept marrying and intermarrying each other. Even though I am a Kelley by birth, I am related to either by blood or marriage the following names:

There are others but these are the main ones that keep popping up over and over again.

You never mentioned in your original post what your Franklin County tie was, please explain. I will keep digging for info on Mariah and let you know what I find. Since I am not in NC, I have to go to the LDS center and have them request records for me. I have not visited them in a while. I will see if I can squeeze in the time to stop by there.
