Where did your Samuels orginate? You mentioned Gastonia and Marion counties in North Carolina. I have Samuel and Samuels in the northern part of South Carolina, some 50-60 miles from Gastonia. That is pretty close in distance. My people were from Kershaw and Lancaster counties in South Carolina.
