I would be interested in information, that you might have, on slaves held by Elam as I have been unable to find where the Fitzpatricks sold or purchased any slaves in Madison. My focus has remained on the African-American Fitzpatrick/Fitz/Fitch that were in Madison after emancipation. The only lead I had on any of my ancestors other than Madison was a reference to my gggrandmother being from Athens, Georgia and I have not seen a listing for a Susie in any wills that I have viewed.
