The Alice Bagby Smith Scholarship Award was established by Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy S. Hillman of Tucson , Arizona in honor of Mrs. Hillman’s mother, and alumna of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a long-time missionary to Brazil , and a granddaughter of John Hill Luther. This award is given annually to an international student.
