I love the way everyone in who visits this site is open and helpful as it relates to geneaology and the many resources and strategies. I am very new at this, however, I am enjoying it thoroughly!!!! This is information is very insightful. I found about three of my surnames. RICKS, BROWN, AND HOLLAND. The name that struck out to me the most was "Anthony Ricks, 45, Sailor on board "Rebecca", West India Negro. What does this mean and how do I research it further?
