Hello all,

I am due back in Ohio in a fortnight and I would like to plan a small side trip to Mount Vernon, Knox County (or anywhere in with the records) to follow-up on some incredible work I did last year but I need some information. I am looking for some organization or institution that has records on the A.M.E. church. My great great grandfather (as stated in his 1917 obit) was a member. It may enable me to find more information about to him to sketch, at least in my imagination, a better picture who he was as a citizen of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Specifically and again, I am looking for an institutions in Ohio which might hold records of A.M.E for church members circa 1900.

Any suggestions?
