Thanks for that census information. The Sarah Berniard -dau-F-S-Mulatto- age 16, who is her parents or does it not say. I believe that that Sarah in the 1880 census and the Sera in the 1900 census are the same both were born in 1864, and she could be the same Sarah Bernard that married Parks Barnes in 1883 in Lafourche Parish. Would her age be posted on the marriage application?.
