Anyone familiar with the Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio in the 1950's and 1960's,Rev. E.A. Parham of Trinity Baptist who pastored there for 50 years, and the businesses in the section?
You may respond here or off-list, I had an Uncle James Shaw I never knew who worked on an egg farm in Reynoldsburg, Oh., then when it became a country club, he moved to Columbus. His wife died shortly thereafter. His "Columbus Dispatch" obit says he was survived by a son named Gregory Shaw in 1977 (son not by first wife).
Another Black family that migrated from James Shaw's Littleton, NC to Columbus were two women named Newell, perhaps Ida and Marian (1950's)
Art Thomas, are you there?
